For me, water is the perfect way to deepen my passion for nature, something I only truly realized through my studies. The bachelor’s program in Applied Geosciences at KIT catered both to my interest in understanding geoscientific topics and to my desire for hands-on work. With a highly practice-oriented hydrogeological bachelor’s thesis, I set the focus for my master’s specialization, which I completed with a master’s thesis in the field of hydrogeology in collaboration with an engineering firm and a water utility. Now I’m back in the water supply sector, working on the future direction and security of the drinking water supply in the Rhine-Main region.
